Full Time & Part-Time: Limited Term Member Service Representatives (Eau Claire) - Multiple Openings Available

Work Schedule

The start date for this position is January 5th.  Full and Part-Time openings working approximately 20 - 40 hours per week. Variable hours between 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM Monday - Friday and two Saturdays per month 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM. This is a limited term, non-benefit eligible position and will go from November 2014 through May 2015.

Job Description

This position is located in our Call Center and candidates will interact with Members and Team Members by using a state-of-the-art phone and computer system in order to answer questions, research problems on accounts, and perform transactions, while providing outstanding service and recommending RCU products and services to Members.

Full Time: Financial Service Representative (Eau Claire)

Work Schedule

Full Time: Mortgage Loan Officer (New Richmond and Balsam Lake)

This is a full time position which will involve weekend and evening hours when necessary.

Job Description

Candidate will be responsible for origination of residential mortgage loans as well as lot, construction, and bridge loans.  Conducts initial pre-qualification interviews and prepares complete loan application packages and necessary documentation.  Conveys policies for extension of credit in accordance with Credit Union and secondary investor guidelines.  Meets Mortgage Loan scheduling and documentation requirements, and production expectations as determined by the Home Loan Sales Manager.  Serves Members, prospective members, builders, developers, and Realtors promptly and professionally.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of two years experience working in Home Loan Origination
  • Understanding of details and guidelines of all available home loan programs
  • Experience developing contacts with local realtors, developers and builders to encourage use of RCU's services for mortgages
  • Experience advising applicants of options available to them for financing, explaining the differences between various mortgage products and negotiating terms and conditions of the loan
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Good typing and computer keyboard skills required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationship with Members and co-workers
  • Ability to exhibit composure, patience and poise when dealing with difficult situations involving Members and/or co-workers
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.

Job Description

Home Loan Servicing Specialists are responsible for disbursing and servicing real estate loans originated by RCU. You will also be responsible for balancing various loan programs, completing and tracking closed loan files, analyzing and maintaining escrow accounts, and providing various accounting functions.

  • Proficient using Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and be extremely accurate
  • Excellent customer service

Full-Time: Information Security Engineer (Eau Claire)

Work Schedule

Job Description

The Information Security Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of the organization's information security architecture. Work involves improving efficiency, availability, and overall security posture.  The position requires reliance on technical knowledge of security principles, security technologies, networking technologies and protocols, WAN principles, and security best practices.

Required Skills

 

  • Minimum of five years working experience with Information Security, Computer Networking or Information Technology is required.
  • Minimum of Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Computer Networking is required
  • Experience diagnosing and resolving complex computer network security infrastructure issues.
  • Experience in deploying, administering, monitoring and maintaining Information Security systems (including intrusion prevention, intrusion detection, e-mail and internet content filtering, vulnerability assessment and SIEM systems)
  • Experience developing and recommending solutions for upgrades and improvements to ensure stable, available and protected network infrastructure
  • Experience designing and implementing network architectures, including LAN-to-WAN, LAN-to-LAN, and WAN-to-WAN communications
  • Experience developing and maintaining policies and standards for information security risk management
  • Have excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
  • Must provide excellent internal customer service
  • Be able to work in a team & collaboration environment
  • Be able to maintain composure in high stress situations
  • Be able to work weekends and/or night hours as necessary
  • Valid driver's license and insured vehicle, occasional travel may be required

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or Information Technologies
  • Experience with Incident Response or previous participation with Incident Response Teams such as the role of first responder, analysis or forensics or an incident response manager is desirable
  • Experience with security tools such as nmap, Wireshark, tcpdump, SIEM, Nikto/Wikto, Nessus, Metasploit, NeXpose, Tripwire, Snort...etc.

Part-Time: Financial Education Representative (Eau Claire)

Work Schedule

Approximately 26 hours per week. Hours will generally be Monday - Friday based on the schools schedule, which may include early morning hours. The Financial Education Representative will also be required to attend department meetings and asked to assist with Marketing Events.

Job Description

Candidate will be responsible for promoting and implementing the RCU school site program and financial education efforts. Oversee the overall operation of assigned school sites and maintain positive relationships with students and their families, teachers, and district representatives. Promote financial literacy to the community as a whole.

Required Skills

  • Ability to educate, coach and mentor student employees.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with faculty and administration at each school.
  • Responsible for assembling student employee teams and training them following proper department and Teller procedures.
  • Responsible for transporting supplies and equipment between school locations and branches as assigned, as well as set up and tear down of tables and chairs.
  • Responsible for planning, coordinating and presenting curriculum in the classroom and educational seminars in the community.
  • Must be dependable and able to work early mornings as needed.
  • Good time management skills are required, as well as the ability to work independently.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and insured vehicle

Preferred Skills

  • Minimum of two years experience working in a financial institution or school setting or equivalent education is preferred.
