Mechanical Breakdown Protection (MBP) is a voluntary service contract providing coverage in the event of failure of covered parts and associated labor costs. This service is meant to protect you after your manufacturer’s warranty has expired, or cover additional services that manufacturer’s warranties do not. MBP is becoming even more important as people are keeping cars longer and driving more miles.
No Deductible— No additional out-of-pocket expenses
Rental Car Assistance— May be provided if repairs are delayed due to parts unavailability
Trip Interruption Assistance— For up to 3 days
Towing Service Assistance— When you are stranded and need it the most
Coverage is Transferable— If you sell the vehicle, MBP can be transferred with the vehicle being sold, which adds extra value (fees may apply)
Cancelable— At any time for any reason
Ability to Finance— Up to 100% of the cost can be included with a low interest rate loan
Statewide Repair Options— Once the vehicle manufacturer’s warranty expires, it may be serviced at any state licensed repair facility in the US and Canada
