Courtesy Pay authorizes payment from your checking account even through it has insufficient funds. If your account qualifies, we will allow your account to go negative up to $750 in order to pay a check, an ACH transfer, or an automatic payment.

Check Card Coverage is an extension of Courtesy Pay to cover check card transactions when there are insufficient funds in your account.* If your account qualifies, we will allow your account to go negative in order to pay a transaction. The service covers ATM card use for cards that are linked to a checking account and used at a merchant as a pinned transaction; however, it does not apply to withdrawals at an ATM.

Your account must qualify for these services. Courtesy Pay and Check Card Coverage are only implemented if other sources, such as Kwik Cash, business lines of credit, or savings accounts, are not available or have been used to their limit.

There is no cost to have either of these services unless you use them.
