Saves Time
Direct Deposit transfers funds automatically to your RCU account. This means no waiting in line to cash your check. Deposits are available immediately— which is perfect if you are traveling because you don’t even have to be in town to get paid.
|
Saves Money
All of our automatic transaction services are FREE*. You will save money by making fewer trips to RCU to cash checks. |
Peace of Mind
Automatic transactions are more secure than using
checks. Money is transferred electronically and passes through fewer hands than a check. There is no need to worry about the check getting lost or stolen. |
Privacy Protection
Protecting your personal and financial information is difficult these days. Keep your account information between you and RCU and reduce the chance of it being abused by a third party. |
Accurate Record Keeping
Proof of deposits appear online immediately and on your monthly RCU statement. You know exactly when checks will be deposited so they are easy to track. |
* Charges may apply on business services. |

Our Direct Deposit and Payroll Deduction services deposit your check automatically into your RCU account. And as always with RCU, your deposits are federally insured up to $100,000 by NCUA.
Direct Deposit—Your entire paycheck is
automatically deposited into your RCU Savings
or Checking Account. The deposit is arranged
by you and can be recurring (such as a paycheck)
or one time (such as a tax refund). You even have the flexibility to make loan payments. When you sign-up, you will also receive discounted personal check printing on accounts at RCU.
Payroll Deduction—You specify the
amount of your paycheck to be automatically
deposited into your RCU Savings or Checking
Account. You even have the flexibility to
make loan payments.
Use Direct Deposit or Payroll Deduction for:
Paychecks and Bonuses
Dividends and Interest Earnings
Social Security Checks
Annuity, Pension, and IRA Deposits
Expense Reimbursements
Just like with a regular paycheck, your employer will issue a payment summary with every deposit. It will show your deductions for taxes, insurance, other obligations, and also the amount that was deposited into your RCU account(s).
Simply give your employer RCU’s routing
number (291880411) along with your account
number. If your employer does not offer Direct
Deposit or Payroll Deduction, encourage them
to do so. Have your employer contact RCU’s
Business Development Coordinator, Colleen
Leuschner, at 715-833-8106 or 1-800-341-9911
ext. 8106.
