ACH Changes Due To Our Business Online Banking Transition

As we have previously shared with you, Royal is transitioning our business Members to a new business online banking platform and business mobile app. This change will take place on October 27, 2020. We wanted to let you know about ACH changes that will be made during this transition:

  • Recently used templates are migrating: Many business Members use ACH templates to simplify the ACH origination process. If your business has used an ACH template in the past 13 months, the template will be automatically migrated as part of the business online banking transition. To ensure the most current data is migrated, please delete any templates your business no longer uses by October 19.
  • Template migration cutoff: Any changes made to your ACH templates after October 19 will not be converted.
  • ACH processing cutoff:
    • If posting date is October 27 or earlier: ACH file must be scheduled in legacy business online banking system.
    • If posting date is October 28 through October 30: ACH file may be scheduled on or before October 26 in legacy system OR on or after October 27 in new business online banking system.
      • If an ACH file is scheduled during this time from the legacy system, no information about the ACH file or payment will be visible in the new business online banking system, but it will still be processed normally. Please do not resubmit an ACH file in the new system.
    • If posting date is November 2 or later: ACH file must be scheduled in new business online banking system.
  • ACH history: ACH history will not be migrated. If you need your ACH history, please export it as a report from the legacy system on or before October 26. An ACH history report can be found on the ACH menu. Select Reports, then Transaction History.
  • New ACH processing guide: The new business online banking system includes similar ACH processing options to our legacy business online banking system. The descriptions of some items have changed slightly. An updated user guide is available upon request. Please contact us at business.online@rcu.org if you would like a copy of this information.

Wire Template Changes Due To Our Business Online Banking Transition

As we have previously shared with you, Royal is transitioning our business Members to a new business online banking platform and business mobile app. This change will take place on October 27, 2020. We wanted to let you know about wire changes that will be made during this transition:

  • Wire templates are not migrating: Any domestic wire transfer information that was stored in our legacy business online banking system as a wire template will not be migrated with the transition. You will need to set up any wire templates used by your business in the new business online banking system on or after October 27, 2020.
  • Wire processing cutoff:
    • If wire date is October 26 or earlier: wire must be scheduled in legacy business online banking system.
    • If wire date is October 27 through October 30: wire may be scheduled on or before October 26 in legacy system OR on or after October 27 in new business online banking system.
      • If a wire is scheduled during this time from the legacy system, no information about the wire will be visible in the new business online banking system, but it will still be processed normally. Please do not resubmit a wire in the new system.
    • If wire date is November 2 or later: wire must be sent from the new business online banking system.
  • Wire history: Wire history will not be migrated. If you need your wire history, please export it as a report from the legacy system on or before October 26. A wire history report can be found on the Wires menu. Select Reports, then Wire Transaction History.
  • Wire limits: The new system will have transaction, daily, and monthly wire limits to help protect your account. We have set limits based on your recent wire history. If you need an adjustment to your wire limits, please contact Business Services at 800-341-9911, ext. #3040.

You may wish to make a note of the information saved in your current wire templates in the legacy business online banking system. A template report is available for this purpose. From the Wires menu, select Reports, then Templates. Having this information handy will make it easier to set up new wire templates after the transition.
