RCU is making it easy to move your accounts. The forms and letters you will need are provided here. All you have to do is print and mail the letters to companies and/or individuals. We'll help you switch. It's easier than you think.
To switch your accounts follow these simple steps:
1. Open an account with RCU. You can do this by opening an account online or visiting one of our branch locations.

2. Download and mail all the necessary forms which are found below. Print the "To Do" list below to help keep you on track.
3. Close your account at your old financial institution. Before you close the account be sure that all checks, card transactions, and scheduled bill payments and withdrawals have cleared the account.

Authorization To Change Direct Deposit
Use this form to send written notices to companies with which you have direct deposit (employer, government deposits, pension, transfers from other financial institutions, investment dividends, child support or court-issued deposits, etc.) notifying them that you want to switch your direct deposits to your new account at RCU.
Authorization to Change Automatic Payments
Send written notices to companies who automatically take payments from your checking account (utilities, mortgage, insurance, brokerage, credit cards, internet service providers, transfers to other banks, child support or court issued payments, etc.) notifying them that you are closing the account and that you want to transfer existing automatic payments from your previous financial institution to Maroon Financial Credit Union.

Send written notice to your old financial institution informing them you are closing your account.
