In 2025, the RCU Foundation carried on its mission to support high-impact projects across Western Wisconsin and Eastern Minnesota, focusing on capital initiatives in education, health, and the arts.
A notable contribution was a $150,000 grant awarded to Feed My People Food Bank in Eau Claire, WI. This funding will advance Feed My People's initiatives across Wisconsin to address food insecurity, as well as support the construction of a new plastic recycling center at the food bank. The recycling facility strengthens Feed My People’s sustainability efforts and offers the community an environmentally responsible means to reduce plastic waste sent to landfills.
In 2025, the RCU Foundation partnered with the Eau Claire Marathon to support local organizations dedicated to outdoor recreation. Through this collaboration, the Foundation provided grants to three groups that make a significant impact in the community. Girls on the Run of the Chippewa Valley received $8,000 to further its mission of empowering young girls through running and wellness programs. The Valley Girls Cycling Club was awarded $5,000 to promote cycling and active lifestyles among women in the region, and CORBA was granted $2,000 to enhance recreational opportunities and encourage adventure activities in the Chippewa Valley. Throughout the year, the RCU Foundation also made significant gifts to the following organizations:
- $250,000 to the Community Library in New Richmond, WI
- $50,000 to Barron County Historical Society in Cameron, WI
- $20,000 to Huey’s Hideaway Children’s Museum in Medford, WI
- $20,000 to 360 Communities in Eagan, MN
