Our School $ense savers had an amazing year! Together, our elementary and middle school savers made 13,828 deposits totaling $246,941.39. Our high school sites also had a strong showing this year, contributing an additional 904 transactions totaling $52,388.82.
School $ense is designed to help students build strong saving habits while gaining hands-on experience with money management and financial responsibility. Through regular deposits at our school sites, students learn the importance of setting goals, saving for the future, and making smart financial choices.
In addition to helping students learn about saving, School $ense also gives back to local schools. Royal awards elementary school sites $250 for every 500 deposits made. Thanks to the hard work of our savers, we awarded a total of $6,500 to our elementary school partners this year! Schools can use these funds however they choose to support their students and classrooms.
