Meet Some of Our Past Interns

Marisa Valdez (Graphic Designer Marketing Intern)
“Interning at Royal allowed me to expand my technical knowledge of graphic design in an encouraging environment. Because my team encouraged me to try new things, to take risks, and to make suggestions, I felt free to learn without having to combat the fear of failure. I was never minimized for being an intern—instead, my ideas were seen as fresh and valuable. Feeling truly seen and heard made all the difference for me in this role.”

Lily Van Allen (Community Engagement Intern)
“Through my internship at Royal, I have been able to hone my skills in event planning, social media marketing, public relations, and make a real impact on our communities! I didn't get sent "intern" tasks to do like research projects or presentations; I got to work alongside full-time team members on nearly everything I did. Royal's company culture also is truly one of a kind. Everyone is so supportive and willing to lend a helping hand!”

Hannah Vick (Digital Experience Intern)
“This internship really helped me grow as a communicator. I stepped out of my comfort zone, took on new challenges, and made the most of my time here. Whether it was speaking up in meetings, working with different teams, or handling the unexpected, I gained a lot of confidence. One thing that really stood out to me during my internship at Royal was the amazing company culture. It was clear from the start that people here genuinely want to see each other succeed.”
