Eau Claire, WI – Royal Credit Union Vice President of Community Engagement, Vicki Hoehn, was presented the Royal Credit Union (Royal) 2019 Positive Impact Award. Hoehn, a Royal team member since 1982, met the high criteria for this award by demonstrating exceptional commitment to Royal Members through her tireless efforts over the past year to fulfill Royal’s core purpose to positively impact the lives we touch. The Positive Impact Award is Royal’s highest team member recognition, and only one award, per year, is presented if a team member is determined to meet the standards.
Royal’s community engagement team creates and implements programs, campaigns, and initiatives to fulfill Royal’s core purpose and values. Hoehn leads the team to ensure Royal remains a valued partner in the communities it serves. In her role, she has gone above and beyond and has demonstrated exceptional commitment to serving the community. In 2019, Hoehn completed her term as the president of the Confluence Council Board of Directors and led the successful first full year of programming for the Pablo Center at the Confluence. In addition, she serves on the boards of the North Barstow/Medical Business Improvement District (BID), Boys & Girls Club of the Greater Chippewa Valley, Clear Vision Eau Claire, and Downtown Eau Claire Inc. Hoehn is also a member of 100 Women Who Care and was honored with a Wisconsin Governor’s Financial Literacy Legacy Award for her work to create and inspire impactful financial education programs. Her contributions to the communities Royal serves have changed lives for the better and the positive impact will be felt for years to come.

Her work in financial education is exceptional, and I was proud to accompany her to Madison as she received a Governor’s Award last year. In 2019, Hoehn has served as a mentor to Royal team members, both formally through Royal’s Exploring Leadership program and informally as she is sought out for her experience, knowledge, and leadership. She is a champion of Royal’s core values and core purpose and continuously reinforces them as she helps others develop in their careers. All Royal team members are eligible to make nominations for the Positive Impact Award. The recipient is chosen by the executive team. The award was presented to Hoehn at Royal’s corporate headquarters in Eau Claire.
