EAU CLAIRE, Wis.- Royal Credit Union (Royal) has named Adam Magee as Vice President of Accounting. In this role, Magee is responsible for leading the strategic direction and operational management of Royal's accounting team as well as developing and implementing financial strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Magee brings over 10 years of financial accounting experience to Royal with notable roles as Vice President of Corporate Accounting at MidWestOne Bank, First Vice President Financial Reporting Officer at Hills Bank, and Finance Director at Collins Community Credit Union. Magee holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in accountancy from the University of Missouri. He also holds a CPA license in the state of Iowa and received a Rising Star Award from the Iowa Society of CPAs. He is most looking forward to leading an already high-performing team and focusing on driving growth and sustainability in his new position.
Outside of his work, Magee and his wife are avid hot air balloon pilots and founded a non-profit, The Balloon Training Academy, to educate new hot air balloon pilots. Additionally, he is a Board Member and Treasurer of the National Association of Flight Instructors.
