EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – Royal Credit Union (Royal) has named Ryan Balts Executive Vice President- Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Balts will oversee Accounting and Financial Analysis, ensuring excellence in service delivery, fostering strategic collaboration within the Executive Team, and driving financial success for the organization.
Balts, who has served as Royal’s Vice President of Finance for the past eleven years, brings extensive expertise in financial strategy, investment management, and operational leadership to his new position.

Balts earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Beyond his professional career, he is actively engaged in the community. He has been involved with Junior Achievement as a classroom volunteer, served as board president of the Chippewa Valley Museum Foundation, and is currently serving as treasurer on the Boys & Girls Club of the Greater Chippewa Valley Board of Directors.
