Congratulations to Julie Frey on her retirement, effective May 1! Julie is the VP of Business Loan Operations and Services and has been in this role since January 2016.
Julie started her journey with Royal in April 1998 in the Business Loan Department, where she was one of just eight team members supporting a $50M loan portfolio. Over the years, she has played a key role in the department’s incredible growth to more than 80 team members and a portfolio of approximately $1.6B. Julie has held several leadership positions, including Business Loan Operations Supervisor and Business Operations Manager, before being promoted to VP.
Julie has been actively involved in numerous activities and committees, including acquisitions, and system implementations. She has also given back to the community through volunteering efforts such as Community Table, The King's Closet, and Big Brothers Big Sisters bowling events.
Julie will miss the many friendships she has built over the years, especially the long-standing relationships with team members in the business department. In her retirement, Julie looks forward to spending more quality time with family, enjoying the outdoors, traveling, attending events for her grandchildren, and revisiting hobbies and interests she has set aside.
