Day at the Minnesota Zoo

Experience a day of fun at the Minnesota Zoo! Visit our booth for an interactive painting activity, where kids and adults alike can express their artistic side. Don’t miss your chance to meet Savin’ Sammy, who will be roaming the zoo for photos throughout the day.

Be sure to catch the Royal Credit Union Sea Lion Discovery show, held twice daily, where you’ll witness the incredible talents and playful behaviors of the Zoo’s California sea lions. Learn about their unique adaptations and discover simple ways you can help protect ocean animals. Tickets are required to see the sea lion show but are provided free of charge with zoo admission. Outside of the Royal Credit Union Sea Lion Discovery, the sea lions can also be seen swimming and diving from the main level viewing in Discovery Bay.
