Royal Credit Union would like to congratulate Kathy Schacht on her retirement. Kathy joined the Royal team in March of 2015 as Teller at our Eau Claire North office. In June of 2016, Kathy transitioned into the role of Deposit Payment Specialist and was later promoted to the Deposit Payment Specialist II position. Kathy demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of Royal’s operational process. Whether she is sorting the mail, processing a payment, running a report or monitoring our ATMs, we can always count on Kathy to complete each task with accuracy and care. Kathy isn’t afraid to have a little fun while getting the job done! She has a great sense of humor and always enjoys a good joke.
“I have absolutely loved working for Royal and have enjoyed my time here,” Kathy shared. “Everything that Royal does for our Members and team members is just incredible. All of the people I have worked with have been amazing and I will miss all the fun we had at our annual department picnics.”
In retirement, Kathy plans to continue to live by Royal’s core values and core purpose of making a positive impact. She is also looking forward to traveling with her husband, Steve. They plan to hit the road with their camper this October and head south towards Texas and Arizona. They look forward to taking the time to enjoy the scenery along the way and plan to fly back home to Eau Claire, WI to enjoy the holidays with family.
