After more than 18 years of dedicated service, Sharon Bunkelman is starting her retirement journey. Sharon began her career as Royal’s Purchasing Agent in March of 2003. At that time, the Purchasing and Facilities departments were located at an offsite location in Lake Hallie, WI. Just over two years later, the construction of Royal’s Corporate Center in downtown Eau Claire, WI was complete and both departments relocated to the new facility. Despite the move, Sharon’s connection with the facilities team has remained strong and they continue to enjoy many early morning conversations before starting the work day.
During her time with Royal, Sharon has been responsible for establishing positive relationships with vendors, fulfilling supply orders, organizing inventory and ensuring all Royal team members have the tools they need to get the job done. Sharon is known for her warm smile, upbeat personality and strong work ethic. You will rarely find Sharon sitting still as she likes to keep busy and can often be found taking on multiple tasks at the same time.
Sharon has appreciated the special connections she has made with team members over the years. “I am going to miss the camaraderie the most,” explained Sharon. “Everyone has been so great to work with and they have all made things so easy for me. I am really going to miss them.”
In retirement, Sharon plans to spend more time helping her family and traveling. Sharon resides in Lake Hallie, WI with her husband.
