As students and educators prepare for a new school year, Royal Credit Union’s Somerset and Hudson offices are helping local classrooms start the year prepared. The two offices recently came together to donate $1,000 to The Sharing Tree, a nonprofit providing school supplies to students and educators in the Hudson and Somerset communities.

“With the rising cost of school supplies, the start of a new school year can be a significant expense for families,” said Cindy Leonard, Executive Director with The Sharing Tree. “Donations like this help ensure students and educators have the supplies they need, and we’re grateful to Royal Credit Union for supporting our work and helping provide resources to local students and classrooms.”
“Royal has deep roots in both the Hudson and Somerset communities, and our core purpose has always been to create a positive impact in the lives we touch,” said Grant Lokken, Hudson Branch Manager. “As we prepare to relocate our Hudson office later this year, we’re excited to build on that longstanding commitment to the St. Croix Valley and continue supporting our Members and local nonprofits in meaningful ways.”
