Royal’s financial education team has partnered with 18 YMCA Twin Cities locations in the metro to share financial education lessons that will potentially reach up to 1,000 kids in grades K-5. We will be in Apple Valley, Burnsville, Eagan, Edina, Hastings, Lake Elmo, Rosemount, St. Paul, and Woodbury in Minnesota. The program is also offered in Wisconsin at the Hudson and Prescott YMCA locations. Each site will be visited twice over the course of four weeks with fun and engaging age-appropriate lessons. On the first visit, students will get to participate in our signature program Takeover Day and meet Royal’s Super Heroes of Savings. Presentation groups will be limited to 10 and we are following the YMCA requirement to wear masks in all facilities. The program runs July 14 through August 5. This is the most aggressive summer financial education program, based on communities covered and students reached, in the five-year history of Royal’s summer program offered to YMCA Twin Cities participants.
