On Monday, October 9 all Royal Credit Union offices will be closed, but we aren’t taking the day off. Instead, Royal’s 850 team members will be living our core values and making a difference during our Community Give Back Day event. We will be performing over 5,000 hours of volunteer service across twenty different communities in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Royal held previous Community Give Back Day events in 2017 and 2019. Our team members and community partners are very excited for its return.
Non-profit organizations in the Chippewa Valley, St. Croix Valley, Twin Cities and other communities served by Royal will benefit from special Royal. In all, we will complete over 80 projects. A few examples include creating blankets for homeless students attending the Eau Claire Area School District, cleaning and doing yard work at the Taylor House in Medford, hanging Christmas Lights in Irvine Park in Chippewa Falls, stocking the shelves at the Somerset Community Food Shelf, and planting trees in the Twin Cities. Some of our fully remote team members will be spending their day helping individuals with visual impairments through our partnership with the “Be My Eyes” organization.
