Royal is rolling out a new program for young adults in April that pays them to learn! finU is a virtual financial education program for young adults ages 14-22. The hour-long classes are taught quarterly and offer cash incentives and exciting prizes.
finU consists of four different classes and is open to both members and non-members alike. Using a virtual format, young adults will learn about a variety of topics meant to help boost financial independence and foster creative financial learning. Attendees can join us for one or all four classes. The more you attend, the more you earn!
Here is how the payout works:
- 1st class – earn $10
- 2nd class – earn $20
- 3rd class – earn $30
- 4th class – earn $40
Total: $100 potential earnings!
Registration will be limited and participants cannot attend the same class more than once. Participants must receive a score of at least 75% on a short posttest to receive cash incentive. There is a payout limit of $100 per person.
Our first session of classes begins in April and runs on the following dates:
- April 12th @5pm: Dollars and Sense: Banking basics
- April 26th @5pm: Safety and Security: Fraud and identity theft tips, tricks, and prevention
- May 10th @5pm: Credit 101: All about credit for beginners
- May 24th @5pm: The Road to Success: College and career readiness
