As Mary Schnacky looks back on her 25-year career with Royal Credit Union, it’s the people she’ll miss the most.  “I have enjoyed the Members and team members I have come to know through the years and worked to meet challenges with a smile and a positive attitude,” Mary said. On April 15, 2016 Mary will retire from Royal.

Mary currently serves as Teller Supervisor at our Rice Lake office. In her role she is responsible for hiring, training, coaching and mentoring staff. She also manages the cash needs for the branch, takes care of scheduling and approves payroll.  She has worked at the Rice Lake office since being hired by Royal in 1990 as a teller and has served as the teller supervisor since 1997. She completed supervisory management courses at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College and has received many other awards and training certificates through the years. Mary has also enjoyed serving on internal committees and participating in activities promoting the credit union.

Mary has always been committed to creating a positive impact in her community. She has enjoyed serving on the Rice Lake Kiwanis Club Board of Directors. “Through my involvement in Kiwanis, I have been able to network with others and support local organizations focused on helping children,” Mary said.

She has big plans for her retirement which include enjoying family & friends, traveling and exploring new opportunities. “I’m looking forward to not setting the alarm and enjoying an afternoon nap now and then, ha-ha,” Mary said.

Mary reminds Royal Credit Union Members and team members to enjoy every day and celebrate the moments.  Mary leaves us with this final thought, “I truly enjoyed my career with Royal!!! Thanks for the memories!”
