The Royal Credit Union Sport Court is a versatile, multipurpose outdoor facility available for the entire Osceola community. Located on the Osceola Medical Center campus, and managed by Wild River Fitness, the Sport Court offers outdoor activities for all ages.  The Royal Credit Union Foundation donated $50,000 to the medical center and received naming rights to the court.

The Royal Credit Union Foundation’s core purpose is to create a positive impact in the communities served by Royal Credit Union. “This Sport Court fits our purpose and focus perfectly because it offers the community, including the youth, a chance to have fun and enjoy spending time together,” said John Sackett, Royal Credit Union Foundation President.

The Royal Credit Union Sport Court provides a community outlet - a place of recreation and gathering, a place for outdoor activities that are good for the mind, body, and soul. The Sport Court is also a fun and safe environment, even after dark with the lighting and fencing that surround it.  “Osceola Medical Center demonstrated great foresight and determination to help create this opportunity for all the residents of Osceola,” commented Sackett.

The Osceola Medical Center is an integral and vital part of the community, taking pride in their stewardship, from providing care for those in need to offering activities and opportunities for improving health.

"A dream of a family outdoor activity space became a reality with the generous gift from the Royal Credit Union Foundation. Their commitment will impact the health of our community," said Karen Elkin, chair of the Osceola Community Health Foundation.

The Royal Credit Union Sport Court offers options for basketball, tennis, volleyball, badminton or Pickle ball, and Shuffle board. The Sport Court is open to the public, based on availability, and can be reserved for private use.
