Give a Hoot About Saving with Royal Credit Union during National Credit Union Youth Month
Royal Credit Union is encouraging its Members to “Give a Hoot About Saving” this April during National Credit Union Youth Month. Learning to save for what you want in life is a crucial life skill, but it’s one too few young people are learning; therefore, Royal is joining the national celebration and has many exciting activities and events planned.
This year’s theme for National Credit Union Youth Month is Give a Hoot About Saving. “Owls represent wisdom, and nothing is wiser than learning to save for one’s future goals,” said Holly Hermanson, Community Engagement Coordinator at Royal. “Passing along the life skill of saving money to the next generation is important to Royal, and that’s why we’re excited to offer these exciting activities during April.”
Kid’s Club Promotion
Open a new Savings Account for children 12 years old and younger any time in April and Royal will deposit the initial $5.00 into the account. Children 12 years old and younger will automatically be enrolled in Royal Credit Union's Kid’s Club and be eligible for prizes and invitations to exclusive Kid’s Club events. Only one new savings account per person is allowed. Kid’s Club Members will also receive double stamps on their Super Saver card from April 22-29. Additionally, all Members 12 years old and younger can also register to win a great prize basket. There will be one winner awarded at each Royal office.
School $ense Celebration
During the month of April, Royal’s elementary School $ense locations will have classroom trivia for which students can be entered into a drawing to win a gift basket for their class. Super Savers in the elementary and middle schools can take advantage of a double stamp week from April 24-28, during which they can also be entered into a drawing for a fun prize.
Identity Theft Presentation
Whether it’s paper, plastic, or online, how do you protect your identity? Royal will be hosting a presentation on April 25 that will provide tips and tricks for keeping your identity protected. The presentation will be held at the Ridgeview Apartments in Clear Lake, WI.
