Royal Credit Union (Royal) has named Colin Boone Corporate Risk Manager. He is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for the Risk Analyst group in order to protect Royal and its Members from losses related to fraud. He will also lead the enterprise risk management program, vendor management program, and business continuity and disaster recovery planning process.

Boone began with Royal in June of 2010 as an Internal Auditor. After a year in that position, he became the Compliance – Risk Management Specialist, his most recent position with Royal before his promotion to Corporate Risk Manager. He has also been a member of the Royal Operational Committee since 2014. Boone is both a Credit Union Enterprise Risk Management Expert (CUERME) and Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE).

Boone graduated from UW-Eau Claire in 2010 with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Accounting and receiving certificates in Advanced Business Communications and Information Systems. He stays involved in his community as a board member for the Blugold Booster Club and Old Abe Football Club, as well as volunteering for Junior Achievement.
