Congratulations to Jerry Kwapick on his upcoming retirement! Jerry is currently a VP – Commercial Lending Regional Manager and his last day with Royal will be June 3.
Jerry served as Chief Sales Officer for three of his five years at Lake Area Bank before transitioning to Royal in August of 2022. He has enjoyed supporting his team by helping them achieve their annual goals and advance their careers. While working for Royal, he had the pleasure to participate in several projects – including participating in the Annual Loan Reviews team and Commercial Pricing Committee. Jerry is also very active in the community and was recognized with the Legacy of Excellence Award from the White Bear Area Chamber of Commerce in 2023.
When asked what he will miss the most when working at Royal, Jerry said he will miss all the wonderful people he has had the opportunity to meet and work with. He has been in the Financial Services industry for over 42 years and has made many friends along the way.
In his retirement, Jerry plans to devote ample time to family and traveling with his wife, Linda. Their three daughters reside nearby, and Jerry and Linda regularly spend time their six (soon to be seven) grandchildren. Jerry eagerly anticipates hosting family at their cabin. In the summer, he will work part-time as a Steward at Gem Lake Golf course—which his son-in-law manages. In the winter, Jerry will continue to work with the White Bear Lake Girls Hockey team and plans to help as a part-time Zamboni driver. While he will certainly miss all the great people he has met over the years, Jerry is looking forward to embracing the “Papa” role.
