EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – Royal Credit Union (Royal) announces the promotion of Timm Sandstrom to Vice President of Business Lending Regional Manager in the Chippewa Valley. The role was created to enhance the business lending department which has shown immense growth over the past few years. Sandstrom leads a team of business loan officers in the Chippewa Valley and surrounding markets. Royal has the lending capacity to support businesses and real estate investors of all sizes and Sandstrom’s vision is to help Royal become the business lender of choice in the communities Royal serves.
Sandstrom started with Royal in December 2011 as VP – Business Lending Officer. During his tenure at Royal, Sandstrom completed Royal’s Exploring Leadership Program, participated in Rock the Riverfront activities and is a member of the Summit Planning committee. Sandstrom holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse.
Sandstrom is active within his community and currently serves on the Dove Healthcare Foundation and Momentum West Boards. Prior to working at Royal, Sandstrom served as Board Chair for a local Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Program in Southern Wisconsin and actively participated in economic development projects. Outside of work, Sandstrom coached and served as treasurer and president for a variety of youth sports program and associations while his two sons participated.
