We're a little different
Work with us and you'll see.
We’ve got the breadth and depth of financial products and services you’d find just about anywhere, but with the added benefits of a credit union.
What makes a credit union different than other financials
Governance. Royal Credit Union and our credit union peers are managed by a Member-elected board of directors.
Education and outreach. Credit unions like us provide financial counseling and educational seminars. At Royal Credit Union, we’ve invested in our youth by managing 28 School $ense branches where elementary through high school students have an opportunity to work in and see the credit union model up close.
The bottom line: lower loan rates, higher deposit rates and lower fees.
Our not-for-profit structure means we return the money we make to our Members in the form of the above. Credit union members nationwide save $9.3 billion a year by using a credit union instead of a bank. That’s crazy! This works out to be about $170 per household in annual savings for credit union members. (Credit Union National Association, 2016)
