Youth & Community

Giving back to the communities we serve

And our future generations.

It's the right thing to do.

You, our Members, live, work and play in the counties we serve. We are so proud to help support and strengthen the remarkable quality of life we value and enjoy by staffing events and/or making a financial donation to make 'em happen. Check out what's happening where you are!

Volunteer Program

We think volunteering is one of the nicest things a person can do. But being the financial folks we are, we can’t help but see it more like an investment. In fact, we think it’s the wisest investment you’ll ever make. For the cost of just a few hours of your time, the return is an immediate impact that benefits everyone in the community. (How’s that for an ROI?) With that in mind, we encourage all our members to get out and volunteer.

Rock the Riverfront

The RCU Foundation Rock the Riverfront featuring the Charity Classic raises funds for deserving organizations within our service regions. The 25th annual run/walk was a great success and raised $27,500 for three charity partners: Eau Claire Public Schools Foundation, The Open Door Clinic, and Stepping Stones. Watch for more details and save the date for our next event on June 27, 2020!

School $ense

We launched our first School $ense location in 1993. (Seems like a long time ago - in fact, one of our team members just shared a story about how she was recently invited to one of her elementary School $ense workers' graduation party.) We've since grown to 28 elementary, middle and high school sites. These sites function like mini-Royal Credit Union branches, staffed by students for students.

25th Anniversary
Prairie Burn Music Festival

Amazing folk and bluegrass tunes, great food, delicious beverages, and games for kids the whole time. Proceeds, on behalf of the RCU Foundation, benefit the Twin Cities YMCA camp endowments, making life changing camp experiences accessible to all for many years to come.
