Eau Claire, WI – Joe Fischer has been promoted to the newly created role of Regional VP of Business Lending in the St. Croix / Metro area. The role was created to continue further enhancing the business lending department which has shown immense growth over the past few years. Fischer will provide leadership to a team of business loan officers in the St Croix Valley area and Twin Cities metro markets. Fischer’s vision is to help Royal become the business lender of choice in the communities that we serve, with a team that wants to make a difference.
Fischer started with Royal in April of 2016 as the VP – Business Lending Officer. Fischer has also taken part as a decision team member of Royal’s SBA Paycheck Protection Program, Lead for Royal’s SBA Loan Programs Evaluation and Development Team, and is now enrolled in Royal’s Exploring Leadership Program.
Fischer is a River Falls native and he earned both his Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls (UWRF). Fischer continues to be active in the River Falls community with serving as the Vice President and Board Member of the River Falls Economic Development Corporation, 1st Vice President and Board Member of the River Falls Lions Club, Advisory Council Member for UWRF’s College of Business and Economics, and Chamber Ambassador for the River Falls Chamber of Commerce.
Fischer lives in Baldwin with his wife and twin sons. Together they enjoy spending time outdoors and traveling.
